Barnard: accepted
Columbia: ??, tomorrow is the day I hear, agh!!!
Fordham: accepted
Mary Washington: accepted
Mount Holyoke: accepted
NYU: accepted, just got the official letter today
University of Chicago: accepted (early action)
Wellesley: accepted
William and Mary: accepted, but shot down for the scholarship competition
Vassar: accepted

Also, Caitlyn, who lived on the fifth floor across from me and Lindsay - I think she was in Kelly's movie with you, is going to Mount Holyoke, she applied early decision.

Umm... if I get into Columbia, that's where I'll be going, I'll make my parents' lives miserable if they don't let me go. Barnard is a really close second and I'm sort of expecting to go there right now. After that, this is the general order: Vassar, Wellesley, NYU, Fordham, Mt. Holyoke... Mary Washington, William and Mary and Chicago pretty much tied in LAST place (first two are too close to home, the third is too far away)! I hope everyone else is (relatively) happy with their decisions and everyone has to tell me where they're going, I'm hoping we all end up at least in the Northeast! Boston is only a 2 or 3 hour train ride from NYC! You all will have to come visit Pam and me!! Also, if anyone has any advice/information/opinions on the schools I did get into, the list above is not set in stone, and I'm terribly indecisive, so ANY advice is appreciated. I love you all!!

At Mount Holyoke they have a bus that goes into NYC, NYC's only about three hours away, and if you or Pam was in college in NYC I could go in and stay with one of yous for the weekend. . . Mmm, that would be awesome. . . And we could visit all our favorite Times Square/ "Harlem" hangouts. . .

Oh, and how's Andy? Say hi to that crazy kid for me, will ya? :-)

Oh, that bus thing sounds great! Pam is definitely going to college in the city because those are the only schools she applied to! And, if I have any say with my parents, I'll be going to school there, too. You're definitely invited to stay in my room, anytime, we'll just steal an extra mattress from somewhere and it will be just like 523 again - Hannah in the middle on her mattress!! yayyy.

And this time, we really will bring it on the subway! I can be the infamous subway bum who just rides the 1/9 line back and forth all night while sleeping on my mattress in the middle of the floor with the homeless people walking all over me. . . LOL.

Amherst: ??
Vassar: wait list
Mount Holyoke: accepted
Wellesley: wait list
Wesleyan: ??
Bryn Mawr: accepted
Smith: accepted, with an opportunity for some scholarship program
Barnard: rejected
Rochester: accepted

Amherst is my favorite - I applied early decision and got deferred - and they'll probably be the last to let me know if I got in or not. :\ Of the ones I've gotten into so far, Holyoke is currently at the top of my list. And it looks like I'll see some cool people there if I go. :)

NYU (top choice) - No, as feared

Barnard (didn't want to go, but applied 'cause I missed y'all) - No, as expected

Pace (safety school) - Yes, with ridiculous scholarships of doom

Fordham (second choice) - Yes. Accepted to the Lincoln Center Campus. This is where I plan on going to school next year.

Well, I sent in my card today, so I guess it's official. I'm going to Smith.

And now I finally have a definitive answer to that annoying question, "What are you doing next year?"

Yay. :)
